A quiet mind is all we need. All else happens rightly, once the mind is still.

Nothing Excluded

When quiet within you can feel presence, though it's not really a feeling but more of a knowing, or maybe knowing is the subtlest of feelings. Grosser feelings are easier to put words to than knowing—which is too ethereal to be sayable. So, trying to communicate something about presence generally takes you back to feelings.

It feels loving, but it is impersonal and unemotional. Everything is present, nothing is excluded or special. The words wholeness, emptiness, peace, potential, dancing, and stillness all come to mind. It is unchanged by the collisions of human emotion and belief. Not that emotion and belief are wrong - except that we identify with them. When we identify with them they become bumptious solids, debris in the sea.
